UKIP ELECTION SUMMARY

David Lott stood as our parliamentary candidate for the Isle of Wight constituency and polled 3.3% of the vote, losing to the Conservative candidate Andrew Turner, who defeated the sitting LibDem MP Dr Peter Brand.

I, Paul Birch, stood for UKIP in the Cowes Central division in the County Council elections (the same day as the General Election) and received 11.3% of the vote, losing to the Labour candidate, in a seat previously held by the Conservatives.

Vaughn Evans stood for UKIP in the Freshwater division and received 9.6% of the vote.
